What a year we just encountered. A quick look at three words that describe the impact 2020 had on my life.
No matter how the movie is, good or bad, I’m going to enjoy it. Why? Because it is the end of a saga that I have known since I was 5 years old. I’ve grown up with this saga, from movies to TV shows to books to comics to games to action figures…
This year, a large swath of IAMTW members (me included) decided we’d like to showcase our non-media tie-in writing chops and introduce all of our various fanbases to a wealth of new worlds, settings, and stories.
And the Wall falls down. Maybe.
Regulus falls, New Syrtis changes hands a few times. Nothing’s peaceful any more.
Obviously, today will be a day of remembrances, “never forget” mottoes, and much more. A horrific day for our country, and one not to be cast aside lately, even seventeen years later.
Operations proceed, Kells disappear. All in a year’s work.
